Dundalk hosts its usual Friday night all weather with the first of eight races due off to post at 5:50 at the county Louth track.

The opening www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap looks a tricky contest. The James Nash trained Tsar Paul finished second at the venue last time out and is set to run another big race but the Tom McCourt trained Copper Dock may run a big race with Joseph O’Brien booked to ride.

Conor Hoban and Mick Halford team up to saddle Danick OF Time in the Horseware.com Apprentice Maiden and look the ones to beat.

Six runners go to post for the Leucillin.com Horseware Ireland

Handicap and it looks set to be a battle between Tommy Stack’s Kedleston and the Edward Lynam trained Choral Society both of whom have won at Dundalk last time out.

Michael Halford’s Lord Kenmare looks set to run another big race in the Winter racing at Dundalk Handicap with Knockgraffon Lad also looking like a leading contender for trainer Michael Byrne and jockey Colm Keane who claims a valuable seven pounds off his back.

Jim Bolger’s Naoise can go one better in Division One of the Irish Stablestaff Association Awards 3rd March Handicap. Stable jockey Kevin Manning takes the ride.

Knights Templar looks a solid each way bet in Division two following a second last time out. Mark Monaghan claims seven pounds off the weight.

Despite having to carry top weight Aragorn Rouge can follow up his last win in the Group Bookings At Dundalk Rated Race. Sam James takes five pounds of his back.

Andrew Oliver was unlucky in the last race last week and he holds a strong chance with New Experience in the concluding maiden.  Jim Bolger’s Gort Na Mona looks the danger.
