Dundalk hosts it usual Friday night all weather card with the first of seven races due of to post at 6:25 at the county Louth venue.

The opening This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Fillies Maiden could see Tommy Carmody get back into winning ways after renewing his licence after a seven year break. He is represented by Miss Mediator but slight preference is for the Edward Lynam trained Atmospheric High who was third last time out and looks set to run another good race. Willie Lee takes the ride.

The Group Discounts At Dundalk Handicap could see Jim Bolger’s Heir To The Mint follow up his win at the venue in January. Rory Cleary is booked to ride and the

main danger may be the Anthony Mullins trained Naked Cowboy.

Edward Lynam currently has already registered six winners at Dundalk this year and he is represented with Atticus Finch and Merkel in the www.dundalkstadium.com Claiming Maiden. Atticus Finch is likely to go off short favourite having finished second on his last three starts at the county Louth venue but Merkel may prove the one to beat following s decent second last time out. Rasputin looks another danger for Tommy Carmody.

The Rambo By Horseware Ireland Handicap has only attracted eight runners and it looks like Edward Lynam could take the pot a she is represented by Dimitar and Choral Society. Dimitar finished a close third to the David Marnane trained Harry Trotter last time out. A notable booking is Joseph O’Brien on the Michael Grassick trained Elusive In Paris.

The www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap sees Copper Dock take his chance after winning at the track two weeks ago. David Marnane’s Almadaa finished second last week and looks set to run another big race but the James Nash trained Tsar Paul may give eighteen year old Megan Carberry her first ever racecourse winner.

Saint By Day finished a very close second at Dundalk last week and the Mick Halford trained six year old could go one place better in the Winter Racing At Dundalk Apprentice Handicap. Mark Monaghan takes the ride. Silver Lord and Johnnys Legacy look the dangers in the seven runner handicap.

Four runners will go to post for the Horseware Ireland on Facebook Race and it looks set to be a battle between the Aidan O’Brien trained Flavia Tatiana and the Harry Rogers trained Solo Performer. Whipless and Hairstyle make up the four runner field.
