Dundalk hosts a seven race card this evening with the first race due off to post at 6:15 at the county Louth track.

The opening Fillies Maiden has attracted ten runners and it looks a very open race on paper. Oonagh ran a nice debut at Cork to finish third and looks set to go off favourite with Sam James booked to ride. Jessica Harrington reports that Act Of Attrition has improved since her debut at Cork whilst David Wachman’s newcomer Attire should also be watched in the betting. Paul Flynn has Johnny Murtagh booked for La Olivia and if she can get back to the form of her fourth to Katevan at Dundalk last September she could be worth an each way bet.

Dundalk hosts another all weather card tonight with the first of seven races due off to post at 6:20 at the county Louth track.

The opening two year old maiden has only attracted four runners. Jim Bolger saddles Einstein’s Folly who will be ridden by Ronan Whelan and he looks set to run a big debut race as this Whipper colt will be well schooled. Ger Lyons saddles Toccata Blue who finished a close fifth on debut whilst Versila Girl finished one place ahead in the same race. If Tommy Stack’s Dylanbaru acts to the Dundalk surface, he looks the one having finished a close fourth to Jim Bolger’s Dawn Approach on the opening day of the flat season at The Curragh. Dundalk hosts it’s usual all weather card with the first of eight races due off to post at 5:50 at the county Louth venue.

The opening three year old fillies maiden has only attracted seven runners and it looks like it will be a battle between the Willie McCreery trained Susiescot and the Mick Halford trained Tawariyka.
